Dr. Neeraja Suryawanshi, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist| Founder of Essence Physical Therapy
Postnatal fitness specialist| Women's health advocate
With over 15+ years of experience as a physical therapist, I’m passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies and return to the activities they love — free from pain or limitation. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Montana, combining advanced education with years of hands-on clinical experience.
My specialized training through the Herman & Wallace Institute in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation, along with certifications as a Diastasis Recti Specialist and Postnatal Fitness Specialist, allows me to care for women through all stages of life. I treat women with a variety of conditions including bowel and bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, diastasis recti, and chronic pain—always through a whole-body, root-cause approach.
At Essence Physical Therapy, I believe that every person’s story matters. That’s why my care model is built on one-on-one treatment sessions, true listening, and a holistic, integrated approach that looks beyond the symptoms to restore balance and confidence.
As a lifelong learner, I’m constantly expanding my knowledge to bring the most current, evidence-based, and compassionate care to my patients. My mission is simple — to help women move better, feel stronger, and thrive in their bodies with comfort and confidence.
